Job Requirements of LPN/LVN Opportunity for Savannah VA Clinic:
Job duties include:
- The LPN functions both dependently and independently with guidance and direction from the Nurse Manager/designee.
- LPN may be utilized as needed in the Acute Care Medical/Surgical areas, in ambulatory/outpatient care clinics, and outpatient lab.
- Knowledge and skill sufficient to prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and/or intravenous medications as permitted by approved local facility policies and procedures. Observation and documentation will include patient's response to medication administered and the reporting of any noted change in patient's condition to RN or MD/DO.
- Demonstrated ability to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact with patients, family members, professional and other supportive personnel involved in the delivery of patient care, incorporating acceptable, established customer service standards into practice.

Sterling Medical is hiring full-time Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses to support the Savannah Veterans Affairs Clinic located in Savannah, GA. Join our team to help support the veterans of the Armed Forces! 8-hour or 10-hour shifts are available.
Qualifications include:
- Be a graduate of a state approved school of practical/vocational nursing
- Unrestricted license from any state within the U.S. or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Basic Life Support card
- 2 years of current experience and must have worked within the last 6 months in a primary care setting.
