Job Requirements of Registered Nurse for VA in Bath, NY:
General Duties, including but not limited to:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care by contributing to the patient's assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes.
- Requires independent judgement and nursing actions, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach in the provision of nursing care.
- Communicate with veterans on their health care options
- Corresponding with veteran, community providers, internal providers/nurses, and administrative staff to ensure the care and authorization for care is requested is processed.

for VA Fingerlakes Health Care System
New York
in two locations:
Canandaigua VAMC,400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424
Bath VAMC, 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810
Compensation depending on experience
shift offerings vary:
Education:
- Must have graduated from an approved school of professional nursing
- Must possess an Associates Degree in Nursing
License/Certification:
- Must possess a license in any US state or territory
- Must possess a current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association
Experience:
- At least two years of recent experience in long term care
Job Requirements:
