General Duties, including but not limited to:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care by contributing to the patient's assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes.
• Requires independent judgement and nursing actions, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach in the provision of nursing care. 
• Communicate with veterans on their health care options 
• Corresponding with veteran, community providers, internal providers/nurses, and administrative staff to ensure the care and authorization for care is requested is processed.
