Job Requirements of Registered Nurse for VA in Aurora, CO:
General Duties, including but not limited to:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care by contributing to the patient's assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes.
- Requires independent judgement and nursing actions, flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach in the provision of nursing care.
- Communicate with veterans on their health care options
- Corresponding with veteran, community providers, internal providers/nurses, and administrative staff to ensure the care and authorization for care is requested is processed.
Other duties as assigned by each individual facility.
Qualifications:
- Must be experienced Registered Nurse
- current, unrestricted license
- License must be from any of the 50 states in the US, including Puerto Rico and US Virgin Island

Registered Nurses
for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Healthcare
in two locations:
Office of Community Care (OCC) 4100 E. Mississippi Ave., Glendale, CO 80246
Rocky Mountain VA Medical Center 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora, CO 80045
Compensation depending on experience
Hours of Operation:
07:00 to 5:30, Monday through Friday
Education:
- Must have graduated from an approved school of professional nursing
Experience:
- At least two years of direct patient care experience within the last three years
