Dental Assistant
Dental Assistant – U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak
Location: Kodiak, Alaska
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Sterling Medical is currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in support of the U.S. Coast Guard at Base Kodiak in Kodiak, AK. This is a great opportunity to serve those who serve while enjoying a competitive compensation package and full benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dental assisting support to Active-Duty beneficiaries
- Prepare instruments and treatment setups
- Assist during examinations, treatments, anesthesia administration, and suture procedures
- Provide basic oral hygiene instruction
- Prepare restorative materials and dental impressions
- Properly dispose of contaminated waste
- Load/unload radiographic film and expose bitewing, periapical, and occlusal images
- Maintain inventory of medicine and supplies
- Greet and direct patients; answer and screen telephone calls
