Job Requirements of Physician Assistant (PA):
Certifications:
• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA)
License:
Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant from any state.
Experience:
- Minimum of (1) one year experience within the last two years working as a PA.
Specific Tasks:
Including, but not limited to:
- • Perform all procedures commonly performed by medical practitioners in their specific specialty and level of licensing for which privileges have been granted.
- • Provide medical examinations, care, and treatment to service members.
- • Review Medical histories and progress of service members.
- • Initiate requests for tests, x-rays, and admissions to the medical treatment facility, as appropriate.
- • Prescribe medications, as appropriate, in accordance with the privileges and SRRC rules and regulations.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Shall Possess a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree.
PA must have the following:
• Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
